MLBS uses an ArcInfo / ArcView-based GIS system.  We also have Trimble sub-meter GPS equipment that is available for research and course use.  Both systems are fully compatible.  Maps and spatial data including everything from digital elevation models, to satellite images, to land cover information is available.  Click here for MLBS GIS metadata (data and layer definitions and data original data sources).
